Our doctors bring together research and clinical care, advancing the rehabilitation of the full range of pediatric and adult nervous system disorders, including stroke and associated neurovascular conditions; multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating conditions; Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, including dystonias, neuromuscular disorders and neurodegenerative diseases; pediatric and adult cognitive disorders; concussions and traumatic brain injuries; paralysis and spinal cord injuries, as well as the full spectrum of other nervous system conditions.
Our specialists apply newly emerging scientific discoveries in the field of neurorehabilitation, altering the course of the condition, restoring function and optimizing quality of life.
Our Neurologic Disorders Rehabilitation Services
We treat patients with state-of-the-art neurorehabilitation techniques and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), human-computer interfaces, robotics and the latest electrodiagnostic technology to optimize and accelerate the recovery of sustainable function.
Spasticity Services
Spasticity, characterized by abnormal muscular overactivity as a result of central nervous system (CNS) impairments, manifests in rigidity, painful spasms and a profound impact on the capacity for everyday tasks, stemming from varied conditions such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and hereditary spastic paraparesis. At the core of our interdisciplinary approach is a customized treatment plan of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, including physical and occupational therapy, nuanced oral medication management, botulinum toxin injections, precision-guided ultrasound and electromyography(EMG)-guided injections for alleviation of pain, the innovative use of intrathecal baclofen pumps and referrals for muscle and tendon lengthening surgical interventions.
Spinal Cord Injury
Embracing a multidisciplinary care framework, our renowned team of specialists, which includes physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, meticulously tailors spinal rehabilitation regimens to address the multifaceted needs of individuals confronting the life-altering consequences of trauma, cancer, multiple sclerosis, myelopathies, spinal stenosis, spinal syrinx and compression fractures. Our novel approach renews physical strength and function, propelling our patients to greater independence.

About Neurologic Disorders Rehabilitation
Neurologic disorders rehabilitation is a comprehensive medical process aimed at aiding recovery from nervous system injuries and minimizing or compensating for functional alterations. It involves a multidisciplinary approach to address the physical, cognitive, psychological, social and cultural dimensions of recovery. The goal is to restore independence, improve quality of life and manage symptoms for individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
