Division of Services for Addiction

About Our Program

Over the past 40 years, the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences’ Division of Services for Addiction has helped thousands of men and women enter recovery and rejoin their families and communities. Through recovery, individuals are empowered to find meaning in their lives and integrate into their communities.

The Montefiore Einstein Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has a broad network of substance use treatment programs providing compassionate, evidence-based outpatient care throughout the Bronx. Our dedicated team of addiction treatment professionals includes medical providers, mental health clinicians, peer advocates and support staff who assist our patients in developing the skills they need to reach their goals. Montefiore Einstein’s programs build upon a harm reduction framework to integrate addiction medications such as methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone®) with patient-centered, state-of-the-art supported care.
