Endocrine Surgery
The Endocrine Surgery program at Montefiore Medical Center is a multidisciplinary subspecialty providing comprehensive treatment approaches to a full range of diseases of the parathyroid, thyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary gland, pancreas and gastrointestinal tract. Our surgeons are specially trained to manage benign and malignant disorders offering state of the art surgical care including both traditional and minimally invasive approaches.
We are also experienced in the care of patients with genetic disorders such as Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN I, II), von Hippel-Lindau Syndrome, and other familial endocrine syndromes.
Our highly skilled surgeons offer treatment plans using advanced techniques and innovative solutions that reduce recovery time and scarring and provide patients with options for surgical approach. The goal is to deliver a customized, comprehensive treatment plan for each patient.
