The Montefiore Einstein Neuroscience Center is internationally recognized as one of the most comprehensive, innovative and advanced centers of its kind. Our center continues to elevate the standard for biomedical creativity and discovery established by our visionary founders, who defined major new fields of interdisciplinary scholarship that have progressively expanded the scope of what encompasses modern neuroscience disciplines today, giving rise to explosive new understandings of disease mechanisms that led to disease-modifying therapies and eventual cures.
Changing Lives through Unprecedented Innovation
Setting the Standard for New Neuroscience Discoveries & Advanced Treatment Strategies
Our world-renowned interdisciplinary clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic specialists, physician-scientists, as well as associated scientists from the departments of Neuroscience, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Neuro-Radiology and Rehabilitation Medicine. Our teams also encompass a wide spectrum of basic science disciplines including genomics, stem cell biology, systems and computational/AI biology, bioengineering, developmental biology, biochemistry, and structural biology. We approach neuroscience through a wide and diverse lens of expertise, and remain at the forefront of research offering patients life-changing solutions to protect, preserve and restore neurological function, and enhance brain resilience.

Líderes en la ciencia de la atención neurológica
At the Montefiore Einstein Neuroscience Center, we are committed to applying the latest biomedical breakthroughs and technological innovations to advance our understanding of the underlying mechanisms mediating the full spectrum of neurological disorders. Our development of revolutionary diagnostic and treatment paradigms to prevent, delay, ameliorate and eventually cure diseases that are frequently chronic and debilitating, and provides hope and inspiration to patients, families and interconnected communities.
We are at the forefront of numerous advanced NIH-funded translation research initiatives, and associated clinical trials, to advance treatments of targeted neurological diseases, including: early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and pre-dementia syndromes; post-traumatic epilepsy; brain health and resilience during aging; neuroprotective and neuroregenerative strategies to promote healthy brain function, as well as defining the broad and complex neurologic and systemic effects of SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 following acute and chronic infection.
Tecnologías de vanguardia
We utilize the most advanced techniques available today, including sophisticated neuroimaging (scaling from newly emerging nanotechnology to multimodal whole-brain paradigms), and genomics/epigenomics, as well as AI and machine learning, to help implement new treatments and improve clinical outcomes for those with nervous system disorders.
Committed to Closing the Gap between Neurological Disease & Brain Health
