Programa de Rehabilitación Cardiaca

The Montefiore Einstein Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is designed specifically to meet the needs of patients who require a comprehensive, structured and carefully monitored approach to heart health recovery, which begins during hospitalization and continues at home. Patients gain a better understanding of their condition and learn how to manage it, increase their ability to perform daily tasks, improve overall health, regain strength, and reduce the risk of future cardiac conditions. The program typically includes up to 36 sessions over the course of three months, for an average of three sessions per week. Our leading interdisciplinary specialists include expert physicians who are board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Cardiology. Exercise physiologists monitor all sessions to help create a long-term maintenance program designed to promote the best possible recovery.
