Chemical Synthesis Shared Resource

The Chemical Synthesis Shared Resource offers cancer center members a broad spectrum of services, including chemical synthesis, analytical chemistry and analysis of chemical reactivity. We provide consultation and project planning assistance (especially for research grant applications), data evaluation for the use of our compounds and editing and publishing support. We are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation to perform demanding chemical reactions, including Schlenk techniques, low temperature, photochemical, chiral synthesis, organometallics, carbohydrates, peptides, pressure reactions, isotopic labeling and microwave-stimulated chemistry.

The Chemical Synthesis Shared Resource offers chemical synthesis services custom-tailored to the needs of cancer center investigators. From simple reagent synthesis of a reference compound to collaboration throughout an entire project, we help investigators from the initial stages of project and grant planning through publication. All chemical needs and problems are addressed on an individual basis.
