Our Approach to Cardio-Obstetrics
Montefiore Einstein Maternal-Fetal Medicine-Cardiology Joint Program evaluates and manages cardiovascular risk factors and/or cardiac disease in pregnancy. Through this collaborative program between the Montefiore Einstein Division of Cardiology and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health, we optimize preconception, pregnancy and postpartum care for patients with known or suspected cardiovascular disease. We publish original research and educate others about cardio-obstetric care at the regional, national and international levels.
