Montefiore Einstein Maternal-Fetal Medicine-Cardiology Joint Program evaluates and manages cardiovascular risk factors and/or cardiac disease in pregnancy. Through this collaborative program between the Montefiore Einstein Division of Cardiology and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health, we optimize preconception, pregnancy and postpartum care for patients with known or suspected cardiovascular disease. We publish original research and educate others about cardio-obstetric care at the regional, national and international levels. We’re ranked in the top 1% of all hospitals in the nation for Cardiology, Heart & Vascular Surgery according to U.S. News & World Report. Our expert cardiologists and obstetricians work closely with you and your family to meet your needs if you are considering becoming pregnant or are currently pregnant, and to support you through delivery and aftercare.
