The Montefiore Einstein Center for Children’s Mental Health

At the Montefiore Einstein Center for Children’s Mental Health, our renowned team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and nurse practitioners, social workers and creative arts therapists is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, trauma-informed and developmentally informed in-patient care. In our state-of-the-art Center, our multidisciplinary team provides individualized attention for a wide range of mood, anxiety, psychotic and neuropsychiatric disorders.

As a recognized leader in psychiatric treatment, our Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences’ mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes healing, resilience and long-term wellness.

Child and adolescent patients work with a multidisciplinary treatment team and participate in individual, family and group therapy sessions. Medication is prescribed as determined by our staff.

Our team of specialists provides care at our 21-bed facility located in the Bronx that offers a safe, structured and therapeutic environment for young individuals aged 5-21.
