Our hotline is staffed Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM to address referrals for patients who need urgent neurosurgical evaluation and management.

Following initial intake, referring physicians will be connected with appropriate neurosurgical specialists with extensive experience with:
- Brain and skull-base tumors
- Neurovascular disease
- Complex disorders of the spine
- Pediatric neurosurgical disorders
- Epilepsia
- Trigeminal neuralgia
Urgent referrals include, but are not limited to:
- Newly diagnosed tumors of the brain or spine
- Lesions causing spinal cord compression
- Worrisome vascular lesions
- Suspected hydrocephalus
- Decompensated epilepsy
- Trigeminal neuralgia
Our goal is to ensure that referring physicians have immediate access to our department and faculty members, and that patients with urgent issues are scheduled within 72 hours or less.
