Montefiore–Einstein is nationally recognized for its clinical excellence, groundbreaking research, training of the next generation of healthcare leaders, and delivery of science-driven, patient–centered care. We are one of the largest health systems in the New York City metropolitan area and we serve a large and diverse patient population. Montefiore–Einstein has an annual NIH grant funding of $179M (2019) and is home to many Centers of Excellence, including 8 NIH–designated research centers.
Montefiore–Einstein Radiology has over 70 radiologists, 15 PhD or MD/PhD faculty, and a large network of state–of–the–art, advanced imaging facilities that provide medical care across three acute care hospitals, a dedicated children’s hospital, as well as multiple satellite clinics across the NYC metropolitan areas. Our physicians and faculty actively engage in research that spans the entire clinical, translational, and preclinical spectrum using multiple imaging modalities involving all organ systems. In addition, our research facilities and expertise support a wide range of collaborative research projects originated from different departments and disciplines. We also provide training opportunities to fellows, residents, medical, undergraduate and high school students.
