About Our Program
University Behavioral Associates (UBA) is an innovative behavioral health management services organization founded in partnership with the Montefiore Einstein Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. UBA is committed to educating the public, patients and families about psychiatric and substance use disorders. We want to help overcome biases and preconceptions sometimes associated with emotional and behavioral problems.
We work hand in hand with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences to help patients overcome a wide range of substance use and behavioral disorders through our uniquely designed inpatient and outpatient services and treatments. The department also has a comprehensive emergency and crisis program, one of the most advanced neuropsychiatric service centers and an exceptional recovery plan for those with a dual diagnosis of substance use and psychiatric disorders.
University Behavioral Associates is one of the first provider-driven behavioral health companies that manages the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services, including clinical services, at all levels of mental health and substance use disorder care. UBA is connected to a network of global leaders in behavioral healthcare, behavioral healthcare information technology, academic psychiatry and clinical research.
Who We Help
We know that good mental health is integral to overall health. Untreated psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety or addiction are associated with more adverse outcomes than most other health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, stroke and cancer.
Our comprehensive behavioral management services are designed to manage our patients’ full spectrum of medical and behavioral healthcare needs. We are committed to educating the public, patients and families about psychiatric and substance use disorders to help overcome biases and preconceptions that are sometimes associated with emotional and behavioral problems.
Using a collaborative team approach, we are committed to providing access to care across multiple diagnoses, provided by highly skilled physicians through specialized health programs that focus on the treatment of both medical and behavioral conditions and risk factors. We offer care management in the following behavioral health areas:
