The Bronx Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) is a centralized, secure, electronic health information exchange that allows medical records to follow a patient when they seek care from any provider in the Bronx who is a member of the RHIO network. By integrating clinical information drawn from multiple sources and sites, the exchange creates a virtual medical record that is available to providers who are in the Bronx RHIO network, such as Montefiore Einstein.
