About Our Prosthodontics Program
The Prosthodontics Division at the Montefiore Einstein Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery leverages the resources of a world-renowned academic hospital network to provide dental restoration and rehabilitation services for patients who have lost some or all of their teeth and oral tissue due to trauma, dental disease, surgery or congenital oral conditions. Our specialists use the latest technology to design, fabricate and expertly fit dental restorations and prostheses that improve the function and appearance of patients’ smiles.
Treatment is available for even the most complex dental needs by our experts, who work closely with other specialists within the Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery and across the expansive Montefiore Einstein academic healthcare system. This interdisciplinary approach allows us to offer our patients the most comprehensive and holistic treatment. Our clinic houses an on-site dental laboratory with a full-time dental technician who customizes restorations according to each individual’s unique treatment needs.
Our Prosthodontics Services
The Montefiore Einstein Division of Prosthodontics provides the full scope of prosthodontic treatment, from diagnosis to consultations through treatment and follow-up.
Our team comprises experts specializing in crowns, bridges, dentures and implants, as well as cosmetic procedures like veneers (laminates) and full-mouth reconstructions. We also fabricate maxillofacial prostheses to replace parts of the mouth and face that have been resected or removed due to tumors or trauma.
We specialize in rehabilitating individuals with missing or malformed teeth due to a congenital condition. Our services include oral appliances for sleep apnea, mouth guards and temporomandibular disorders.
