Research professionals, scientists and students have access to extensive resources at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center. This includes state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest advanced technology and support and guidance from expert, world-renowned collaborators, all with the focus to provide patient-centered, evidence-based cancer care.
A Partnership for Collaborative Research
The physicians at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center partner with scientists at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine to ensure access to techniques and services that use specialized tools and instruments not commonly available. All of this is provided within research settings designed to meet the needs of scientists, and overseen by teams of professionals with high degrees of expertise in their field.
Analytical Imaging Facility

Animal Model Shared Resource

Biostatistics Shared Resource

Chemical Synthesis Shared Resource

Structural Biology Shared Resource
Shared Resource Director: Steven Almo, PhD
The Structural Biology Shared Resource (SBSR) supports a wide range of protein science technologies for identifying new targets and defining molecular mechanisms, and for generation of new tool compounds and therapeutic leads.

Our Associate Director for Shared Resources is Jonathan Backer, MD. Backer also serves as a member of all advisory committees.
