Montefiore Medical Center

Moses Campus

The Emergency Department at Montefiore Medical Center serves as a 911 receiving center and the doorway to the hospital's numerous tertiary care services, including:

The Adult Emergency Department, one of the busiest in the tri-state area, treats approximately 80,000 patients per year.

Children's Hospital at Montefiore includes a pediatric Emergency Department that treats approximately 50,000 patients each year and serves as a training site for a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship. CHAM provides care to a population of children with a relatively high level of acuity and problems that require tertiary care.

Einstein Campus

Montefiore's Weiler Hospital is located on the campus of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The Weiler Emergency Department sees approximately 11,000 pediatric visits a year, seen side by side with adult patients.

Weiler is a 911 receiving center for STEMI and strokes, as well as a Level 2 Trauma Center. Weiler's active interventional cardiology program exposes residents to complicated cardiac cases. This hospital is the newest addition to the residency program's clinical sites and allows interns to manage complex, high-acuity cases early on in their training.

Jacobi Medical Center

Jacobi is one of 11 acute care hospitals in New York City's public hospital system and is the largest public hospital facility in the Bronx.

Jacobi serves as a major academic affiliate and teaching site of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The hospital supports residency programs in all specialties and subspecialties. Jacobi is a 911-receiving hospital, an American College of Surgeons Verified Level 1 Trauma Center for adults and children and also houses the only Burn Unit in the Bronx, the second largest Burn Unit in New York City.

Jacobi also serves as the Regional Hyperbaric Center and Regional Snakebite Center for the tri-state area.

The Jacobi Adult Emergency Department delivers care to approximately 75,000 patients each year.
