Project BRAVO Food Pantry—A Lifeline for Thousands of Bronx Community Members

At Montefiore Einstein, we care for everybody and the whole body. In 1986 we established the Project BRAVO Food Pantry near our Moses campus—where it still operates—as a community-based, hospital-driven initiative to combat food insecurity for high-risk individuals and families in the Bronx.

A lifeline for thousands of Bronx community members without ZIP code restrictions, Project BRAVO provides nutrition support, premade meals, shelf-stable goods, fresh produce, household and baby items—and more. We work directly with local nonprofits such as Food Bank For New York City, NowPow, Plentiful, and Unite Us—all in tandem with generous philanthropic leaders. But the demand far exceeds what we can supply; your support will help us uplift those who need us most.
