Programa de tutoría

Dr. Fang assigns each new intern a PGY5 as a temporary mentor. Interns are all given the same temporary faculty mentor. They have their PGY1 year to select a faculty member as their permanent residency mentor.

Each intern should notify Dr. Fang of their faculty mentor choice by May 1 of their intern year. The frequency and depth of mentor-mentee contact are to be determined by each pair. Faculty members are discouraged from accepting a 3rd and prohibited from taking the 4th mentee.

Residents are encouraged to seek mentorship and advice from a broad array of faculty in addition to their official mentor.
