Ruby Greywoode, MD is an Attending Physician at Montefiore and Assistant Professor of Medicine at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Greywoode’s clinical focus is in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
In 2007, Dr. Greywoode received her Bachelor of Arts at Princeton University. She then attended George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Greywoode began her postgraduate training in 2012 with a three-year internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Following this, she completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Hospital, Icahn School of Medicine in 2018.
Dr. Greywoode’s research focuses on improving the quality of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) health care and outcomes. She is also examining how social determinants of health influence the well-being of patients with IBD. Her work has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals..
Dr. Greywoode is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
