Montefiore Health System and Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s pledge to health means we extend traditional care’s boundaries for all. Our experts have revolutionized our care system to treat patients by meeting them where they are, as we have always done through initiatives such as our Montefiore School Health Program, Project BRAVO food pantry, Primary Care at Home program, telehealth platform, COVID Recovery core clinic, and dozens more community programs.

Montefiore’s 85 percent Medicare / Medicaid payer mix means it often costs more to care for a patient than we receive in reimbursement. Following a destructive COVID-19 surge where we treated anunmatched rush of patients, today we face a great financial challenge—but, with philanthropic partnerships, it is not an insurmountable one. Our tradition of delivering leading services—in our clinics, across our community outposts, and throughout our neighborhoods—relies on people like you who will support us during the exceptional times and the every day.
