About Our Program
The Montefiore Einstein outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is designed to meet the needs of patients requiring a comprehensive, structured and carefully monitored approach to heart health recovery, which begins during hospitalization and continues at home. Our patient-centered recovery approach helps each individual gain a deeper understanding of their condition, learn how to manage it, enhance their ability to perform daily tasks, improve overall health, regain strength and reduce the risk of future cardiac conditions.
Our board-certified physiatrists, trained in cardiac rehabilitation, closely collaborate with the cardiology team to design personalized regimens tailored to meet each patient’s immediate needs. Exercise physiologists supervise all sessions to help develop a long-term maintenance program that promotes optimal recovery.
Montefiore Einstein is ranked in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for cardiology, heart and vascular surgery according to U.S. News & World Report. Our team of experts employs state-of-the-art treatments and innovative approaches to help each patient recover and lead active, productive lives.
