Your Gift to the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Makes a Difference
As the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has continued to grow, the support of our alumni and friends has enabled us to develop new programs and sustain our educational, patient care and research missions.
Giving to the Department enables us to continue supporting our trainees and allows faculty to initiate new pilot projects for research, as well as support programs that benefit our patients. These projects include the Mark Thomas Fund for the residency and fellowship training programs, where we can support missions to Jamaica; our resident and fellow wellness events; Montefiore Melodies; our adaptive sports program, which enables members of the Bronx community to participate in sports despite their disabilities and our 3D printing program which helps to create durable medical equipment, prosthetics and orthotics for members of the Bronx community and abroad.
All of these projects are supported through your contributions. Even the most modest contribution can have lasting and marked benefits.
Please consider helping by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Department, allowing us to continue our mission of delivering the most advanced care to our patients and supporting the education of the next generation of rehabilitation specialists.
