Cancer Rehabilitation

At Montefiore Einstein, our Cancer Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to optimizing the recovery and quality of life for patients undergoing cancer treatment and survivorship. We take a multidisciplinary approach, integrating the expertise of physiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and oncology specialists to address cancer patients’ unique challenges. Our evidence-based interventions include therapeutic exercise, assistive device training, cognitive rehabilitation and psychosocial support to improve mobility, strength and overall function. For patients experiencing pain and spasticity, we offer advanced procedures such as trigger point injections, botulinum toxin injections and nerve blocks.
