About Our Program
The Wakefield Child Outpatient Psychiatry Division provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art treatment for a wide range of mental and behavioral health conditions for children and adolescents aged 4 and older. Compassionate, evidence-based care is delivered by licensed professionals and clinicians with extensive clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating children’s mental and behavioral health conditions. As part of our comprehensive mental health support services, we offer compassionate talk therapy and medication treatment, as well as various treatment modalities to address the specific needs of young patients and their families.
Individualized treatment plans at the Wakefield Child Outpatient Psychiatry Division are delivered by licensed professionals and clinicians with extensive clinical expertise in all areas of behavioral health. These professionals include psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed mental health counselors and licensed creative arts therapists. Our program provides specialized patient- and family-centered treatment for a range of emotional and behavioral problems, including adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorders, conduct disorders and depressive disorders.
