Transcatheter Valve-in-Valve Procedures
Heart valve disease occurs when an abnormality develops in a bioprosthetic heart valve and impairs its ability to work properly. We offer transcatheter aortic valve replacement as an alternative to surgical aortic valve replacement. Transcatheter valve-in-valve (ViV) replacement is performed by implanting a transcatheter heart valve within a failing bioprosthetic valve avoiding the need for open heart surgery.
