New Stereotactic Radiosurgery Treatment Option for Brain Tumors and Other Conditions The Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care has adopted yet another leading-edge approach to treatment—stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). We are the only facility in the Bronx and Westchester certified by the American College of Radiology to offer this special procedure to select patients with brain tumors and other conditions that are not amenable to surgery. SRS is a highly precise, exceedingly conformal, planning and delivery technique that allows for delivery of a very large concentration of radiation to specific parts in the brain.
