Access exceptional care for liver cancer at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our multidisciplinary team has extensive experience caring for this cancer. As one of the first NCI-designated cancer centers, for more than 50 years, we’ve been a leader in the research, diagnosis and treatment of over 200 types of cancer.
The team includes some of the nation’s top hepatobiliary/transplant surgeons and liver medicine specialists (hepatologists) with deep expertise in treating early and late liver disease that occurs with cancer—from hepatitis to sclerosing cholangitis, biliary cirrhosis, jaundice, effects of cirrhosis, autoimmune liver disease, and inherited metabolic disorders. Also on the team: diagnostic imaging specialists, medical and radiation oncologists, social workers, psychologists, nutritionists, and more.
