Headache & Facial Pain Fellowship

Overview

First opened in the 1940s to treat returning WWII veterans with post-traumatic headaches, the Montefiore Einstein Headache Center is the first center in the world dedicated exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders and facial pain. The center is committed to excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders, advancing the current knowledge of headache through research and moving scientific discoveries into clinical practice.

Our one-year, UCNS-accredited Adult Fellowship Program exposes fellows to a wide breadth of headache disorders in the outpatient setting. Led by a growing faculty, our program instills in our fellows unique principles of individualized headache evaluation and patient-centered approaches to treatment. Past trainees of our program have gone on to become leading and influential experts in the headache field.
