Adult Medicine
Montefiore Medical Group (MMG) provides exceptional primary care services for adult patients in the Bronx and Westchester County. Both internal medicine and family medicine physicians, in collaboration with advanced nurse practitioners and physician’ assistants, provide primary care to adult patients in our practices. All our providers are experts in preventing, diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions and collaborate with subspecialists and other specialty services throughout the Montefiore Einstein network to ensure comprehensive interdisciplinary care for our patients.
Our Services
The adult medicine program at MMG focuses on long-term comprehensive care to help manage a wide range of conditions and complex medical problems throughout the lifespan, including senior care. With a holistic approach to the unique needs of the patient population and a deep understanding of how the human body and its organ systems work together, our internal medicine and family medicine physicians provide clinical solutions for the medical needs of all our patients.
Services are available to manage the complexities of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and respiratory diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We also treat acute conditions like strep throat and other infections, as well as minor injuries such as sprains and strains.
With our commitment to preventative healthcare, our team refers patients for all appropriate screenings and necessary blood, stool or urine tests to monitor the body systems and detect and diagnose diseases and conditions early.
