Pediatrics
Montefiore Medical Group (MMG) provides pediatric primary care from birth at all our healthcare locations, including our urgent care facilities. Both pediatrics and family medicine providers fill the primary care services for babies and children at our practices, including checkups (physicals), sick visits, vaccinations and blood work, as well as comprehensive social, behavioral and developmental assessments.
We tailor our pediatric services to meet the unique physical, emotional and social needs of infants, children and adolescents with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that addresses their health and well-being during every critical development period. Pediatric primary care physicians work closely with exceptional pediatric specialists, services and programs at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM). This collaborative approach delivers seamless and efficient communication between departments, with coordinated teamwork between primary care and specialists to provide the highest quality of care.
Many of our sites are also integrated into the HealthySteps Program, connecting our patients with services and specialists to meet every developmental and behavioral health need from infancy to toddler-aged children. Specially trained experts in child development and behavior ensure the total health of every baby and young child, providing patients and their caregivers with support and resources through every stage and challenge of development.
