Dedicated to the Bronx and Westchester County Communities
For over two decades, Montefiore Medical Group (MMG) has collaborated with local and state institutions to offer essential resources for Bronx and Westchester County residents. These include coordinated services ranging from primary and preventative healthcare for public school students to initiatives aimed at combating food insecurity for high-risk individuals and families by providing supplemental food, nutrition counseling, screening for social factors that impact health and wellness and referrals to health and social services.
Our Programs
Project Bravo Food Pantry
The Project Bravo Food Pantry combats food insecurity among high-risk populations in the Bronx by providing nutritional services and emergency food assistance. It’s open to all Bronx residents, with no zip code restrictions.
Montefiore School Health Program (MSHP)
The Montefiore School Health Program (MSHP) provides primary and preventative healthcare to public school students in the Bronx and southern Westchester County. MSHP partners with primary and specialty providers to tailor services for each student’s needs.
Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program safeguards the health of low-income families, infants and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk. MMG partners with WIC and New York State to provide supplemental food, nutrition counseling, and health and social services referrals.
