Jessica S. Tugetman, MD, MSEd, is an attending physician, at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Tugetman’s clinical focus is on medical education and interprofessional communication.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Yeshiva University in 2010, Dr. Tugetman earned her Doctor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2016. She remained here to complete her pediatrics internship in 2017 and her pediatrics residency in 2019. Following this, Dr. Tugetman studied at Hofstra University and completed her Master of Science in Education and a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine in 2021.
Dr. Tugetman is interested in educational outcomes research and qualitative research methodology. Her scholarly focus is on curriculum development and exploring the role of uncertainty in medical training. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and she has given multiple presentations at professional meetings.
Dr. Tugetman is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
