Nigar N. Ahmedli, MD, is an attending physician in the department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Ahmedli specializes in the use of injectable fillers and neurotoxins, aging face procedures, primary and revision rhinoplasty as well as congenital, post-traumatic and Mohs reconstructive procedures.
In 2015, Dr. Ahmedli completed a combined program of undergraduate education and medical school at Brown University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience and her Doctor of Medicine. Her postdoctoral training began at Montefiore Medical Center with a residency in otolaryngology-head & neck surgery. She continued her training with a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ahmedli’s research interests focus on resident education and leadership training. She has shared her work through national and regional presentations as well as peer-reviewed journals.
In 2020, Dr. Ahmedli received the Leo M. Davidoff Society Award for outstanding achievement in the teaching of medical students.
