Judi Chervenak, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Associate Professor, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Chervenak’s clinical focus centers on menopause, perimenopause, osteoporosis, osteopenia, obesity management and climacteric symptoms.

After earning her Doctor of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1991, Dr. Chervenak completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University – Bellevue in 1995. She then completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1997.

Dr. Chervenak’s research focuses on menopause and obesity management. She has been co-investigator and participant in several funded research projects and has shared her work through numerous scientific publications, national presentations and media interviews. Dr. Chervenak is also a reviewer for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Chervenak is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the International Society for Clinical Densitometry and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, where she is a Junior Fellow of the North American Menopause Society. In 2000, Dr. Chervenak received the Young Investigator Award from the North American Menopause Society.
