Christina H. Fang, MD, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor, Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Montefiore Einstein. Fellowship-trained in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery, Dr. Fang’s primary clinical interests are functional and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, septum/turbinate surgery, sinus cancer, epistaxis, nasal valve surgery, cerebrospinal fluid leaks and minimally invasive endoscopic skull base surgery.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in biology from The College of New Jersey in 2011, Dr. Fang continued her education at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2015. Her postdoctoral training began at Einstein with a residency in otolaryngology–head & neck surgery, which she completed in 2020, acting as administrative chief resident in her final year. She was also named Chief Resident of the Year. She then pursued a yearlong fellowship in advanced rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, which she completed in 2021.

Dr. Fang’s research interests include evaluating evidence-based practices in rhinology and socioeconomic disparity in otolaryngology. She has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in otolaryngology, rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery. She has shared her work through several national scientific presentations, peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and poster presentations.

Dr. Fang is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society and the North American Skull Base Society.
