Staceyann Smith, MD, MPH, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. Her clinical focus centers on childhood obesity and health and wellness.

After completing her Bachelor of Science in human science from Georgetown University in 2009, Dr. Smith earned her Doctor of Medicine and her Master of Public Health at the University of Connecticut in 2015. She completed her general pediatrics residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in 2018.

Building on her clinical focus, Dr. Smith’s research focuses on quality improvement regarding childhood obesity management in general pediatric clinic settings. She has been primary co-investigator and physician site lead on research projects.

Dr. Smith is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatric Association.
