Paul Chambers, MD, FAAP, is Emergency Management Work Group Co-Chair at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His clinical focus is on quality improvement projects that enhance the quality of care of emergency department patients.

In 1982, Dr. Chambers received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from City College, City University of New York. He then attended Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1986. For his postgraduate training, he came to Montefiore, completing his residency in pediatrics in 1989.

Dr. Chambers’ research focuses on quality improvement in medical care, with many projects that have had a beneficial impact on the efficiency of the emergency department or had a direct impact on the quality of care of patients. He has shared his work through journal articles, book chapters, poster presentations, and invited lectures.

Dr. Chambers is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
