Julie Kaplan, MD is an attending physician, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health and Medical Student OBGYN Associate Clerkship Director at Montefiore Einstein. She has a special interest in prenatal care, contraception and colposcopy.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in 2008 from Cornell University, Dr. Kaplan earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2012 at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She then came to Montefiore Einstein to complete an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2016.

Her research interests include simulation model research and researching the long-term outcome of estrogenized endometrium in postmenopausal women. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Kaplan is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
