Kyle Swartz, DO, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Medicine at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Swartz assists patients with all lung diseases and has a particular focus on interstitial lung disease. He is also interested in advanced critical care ultrasound in the intensive care unit.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in biology from The Ohio State University in 2013, Dr. Swartz earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. He completed his internal medicine residency at Montefiore Einstein in 2021, followed by a pulmonary and critical care fellowship in 2024.
Dr. Swartz has focused his research on advanced lung diseases and advanced critical care ultrasound. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts, articles, and abstracts, and he has shared it through oral presentations, poster presentations, and videos.
Dr. Swartz is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a committee member of the CHEST Ultrasound and Imaging Section Network of the American College of Chest Physicians.
