Robert M. Simon, MD, is an attending physician and Clinical Instructor, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Simon’s clinical interests are in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system as well as sports medicine.

After completing his undergraduate education at State University of New York at Stony Brook and Pace University, Dr. Simon attended New York Medical College, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1984. He completed his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1985 and his residency at NYU Medical Center, Rusk Institute in 1988.

Dr. Simon’s research follows his clinical interests, with his work shared through textbook chapters and journal articles.

Dr. Simon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He has subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. Dr. Simon is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
