Daphna Katz, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Katz’s clinical practice centers on pediatric nutrition, including feeding disorders, malnutrition and obesity. She also focuses on nutrition in premature infants and in children receiving total parenteral nutrition.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University in 2012, Dr. Katz earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Maryland in 2017. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Miami in 2020, and her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the same institution in 2023.
Dr. Katz's research interests are in improving nutritional outcomes of infants and children. She has shared her work through several peer-reviewed journals, numerous abstracts and invited presentations.
Dr. Katz is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition.
