Fernand Bteich, MD, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical focus centers on gastrointestinal malignancies, hepatobiliary cancers, colorectal cancer and clinical trials.
After earning his Medical Doctorate at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon in 2015, Dr. Bteich completed his internship at HôteI-Dieu de France Hospital in Beirut in 2017. Following this, he completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University in 2020 before completing a hematology-oncology fellowship at Montefiore Einstein in 2023.
Dr. Bteich’s research focuses on hepatobiliary cancers, retrospective outcomes and clinical trials. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and he has presented nationally and internationally.
Dr. Bteich is board certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
