Sara Hyatt, DO, MPH, MS, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is in the sedation management of critically-ill children.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in biology from Northeastern University in 2007, Dr. Hyatt earned her Master of Public Health at the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University in 2010. She then earned her Master of Science in neuromuscular medicine at the New York Institute of Technology in 2013 before earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. For her postgraduate medical training, Dr. Hyatt completed a pediatric internship and residency at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and Stony Brook University Hospital in 2018. She later completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine-Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Hyatt’s research focus is in medical education and outcomes-based research. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, abstracts and poster presentations.
Dr. Hyatt is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
