Kay Lee, MD, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor, Anesthesiology at Montefiore-Einstein. Dr. Lee’s clinical focus is on regional anesthesia and acute pain management.
In 2006, Dr. Lee received his Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He then attended SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Lee began his postdoctoral training in 2012 with a four-year internship and residency in Anesthesiology at Einstein. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in regional anesthesiology and acute pain management at Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale School of Medicine, completing it in 2017.
Dr. Lee’s research interests are in regional anesthesiology, with particular interests in peripheral nerve blocks and perioperative pain management. His work has been shared through peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and poster presentations.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists.
