Manasi H. Chitre, MD, is an attending physician in pediatric emergency medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of acutely ill and injured children.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts at Boston University, Dr. Chitre pursued her medical education at University of Massachusetts, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2014. She completed her postgraduate training at Jacobi Medical Center, completing a three-year pediatric residency in 2017 and a three-year fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine in 2023.

Dr. Chitre’s research focuses on the use of simulation in education as well as the utility of coagulation studies prior to urgent surgical procedures. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and invited presentations.

Dr. Chitre is board certified in Pediatrics, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
