Frances Shi, MD, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Shi is interested in all aspects of general pediatrics, with a particular focus on supporting families through infancy and the early years. She is also involved in our Lead Poisoning Treatment and Prevention Program.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2015, Dr. Shi earned her Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in 2019. She continued her medical training at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein, completing a pediatrics internship in 2020 and her pediatrics residency in 2022.
Dr. Shi’s research focuses on quality improvement, especially as it applies to patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Dr. Shi is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
