Jeanie Lee, MD, is Co-Director, Rheumatology-Dermatology Combined Clinic (RDCC) and Attending Rheumatologist at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Medicine at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Lee’s clinical interests are centered on skin conditions associated with rheumatic disease. She is also skilled in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in biology as part of the BA-MD medical program at CUNY Brooklyn College in 2011, Dr. Lee completed her Doctor of Medicine at State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine in 2015. She completed her internal medicine residency at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in 2019, taking on the role of Chief Resident in her final year. She then came to Montefiore Einstein to pursue her rheumatology fellowship, completing it in 2021.
Dr. Lee's research focuses on identifying the clinical, serological, and histopathological features of patients with disease that have rheumatology and dermatology overlap. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, abstracts and invited presentations.
Dr. Lee is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is certified by the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Rheumatology and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
