David B. Erlichman, MD, is an Attending Radiologist specializing in body imaging at Montefiore. He is also an Assistant Professor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Erlichman’s clinical focus is on CT, MR and US imaging of the abdomen and pelvis, as well as CT and US-guided interventional procedures.

Dr. Erlichman attended Yeshiva Unirsity where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in 2011 at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then attended Sound Shore Medical Center for Preliminary Medicine. Following this, Dr. Erlichman completed a radiology residency in 2016 and an abdominal imaging fellowship at Montefiore in 2017.

Dr. Erlichman’s research focuses on improving radiologist-patient interaction in the emergency department. He is also interested in the benefit of 3D reconstruction in congenital tracheal-bronchial pathology and evaluation of skull fractures in the pediatric population in minor head trauma. Dr. Erlichman has served as a Research Assistant on multiple projects and has published research in his fields of interest.

In 2006, he was awarded the Samuel and Emily Granet Lemler Memorial Award for Excellence in Pre-Medical Studies. Dr. Erlichman is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
