Bradley A. Schiff, MD, is Professor, Otorhinolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery, Director, Otorhinolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery and Director, Head & Neck Cancer Service at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical focus is on all aspects of head and neck cancer surgery including cancers and masses of the oral cavity, larynx, pharynx and neck as well as tumors of the parotid thyroid and parathyroid glands.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts at Wesleyan University in 1993, Dr. Schiff attended New York University School of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1997. His postdoctoral training began at Georgetown University Medical Center, where he completed his internship in 1998 and his otolaryngology–head and neck surgery residency in 2002, acting as Chief Resident in his final year. He went on to complete a two-year fellowship in head and neck surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2004.

Dr. Schiff’s research primarily focuses on improving the safety of patients with tracheostomies. He is also involved in a number of projects, including projects improving the utility of fine needle aspiration of the head and neck, and projects involving thyroid parotid and squamous cell carcinoma. He has shared his work through peer-reviewed journals, books and oral and poster presentations, and is a reviewer for several journals including Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Laryngoscope and Trends in Anesthesia and Critical Care. He is an editorial board member for the Annals of Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology.

Dr. Schiff is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of multiple professional societies, including the American Head and Neck Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He also served as president of the New York Head and Neck Society. Dr. Schiff has been listed on New York Times Magazine’s list of Super Doctors and New York Magazine’s New York’s Best Doctors.
