Yael Belinkie, PhD, is the Director of Clinical and Business Affairs at Montefiore’s Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) . She is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Belinkie also directs SATP’s Clinical Psychology Externship Program. Dr. Belinkie specializes in the assessment and treatment of substance use disorders and has been actively involved in program development in this area. She has extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and acceptance and commitment therapy, targeting substance use and mood and personality disorders.
Dr. Belinkie completed her undergraduate and doctoral education at Yale University and completed her predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Belinkie’s work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
